Eclipse Orthopaedics

Eclipse Orthopaedics develops tools that help orthopaedic surgeons perform surgeries safer, faster and more accurately than current methods. Its first product, the RTA system, is a fluoroscopic drill attachment that allows the surgeon to see a target hidden inside a bone and drill through it at the same time.  In a pre-clinical study, surgeons directly compared the device to the current method and found that the RTA system is faster produces less radiation exposure and is easy to learn.
