Prolocor’s mission is to develop a precision tool that will revolutionize treatment by identifying patients at high and low risk for heart attack, stroke, and death. Platelets contribute to thrombosis (clot formation), which causes heart attacks and strokes. Platelet FcRIIa amplifies platelet activation and promotes thrombosis. Quantification of platelet FcRIIa in patients with heart attacks demonstrated compelling results.
