ORWH Small Business Opportunities for Innovative Women's Health Research Webinar
Interested in learning about small business opportunities for women’s health research? The NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) is hosting a virtual webinar to discuss “Small Business Opportunities for Innovative Women’s Health Research.”
As President Biden’s Executive Order on Advancing Women’s Health Research and Innovation mentioned, private-sector innovation is a key aspect of accelerating and improving women’s health research. NIH is committed to further increasing—by 50%—its investments to support innovators and early-stage small businesses engaged in research and development on women’s health.
Stephanie Fertig, Director, NIH Small Business Program, and several NIH small business program representatives will provide overviews of their programs and institute- and center-specific interests at the intersection of innovation and women’s health.
The webinar will address the following:
- Introduce the women’s health research community to small business opportunities
- Introduce the small business community to women’s health research priorities
Attendees can submit questions in advance for program staff. Questions can be sent by email or entered in the registration form.
