A unique opportunity for NIH small business grantees

Through America's Seed Fund, NIH awards small business grants and offers a wide range of support to life science entrepreneurs. Even with all of this early-stage funding and support, you may need follow-on funding and strategic partnerships to get your product onto the market. That's why NIH connects more than 100 SBIR and STTR grantees to investors and corporate partners at some of the industry's premier conferences and events each year through its Company Showcase program.

Overview of the Company Showcase Program

Grantees may request registration support for investor and partnering events. Your company, stage of development, and fundraising or partnering goals will be evaluated for fit with upcoming events by an NIH team of investment and industry experts in coordination with NIH Program Officials.

If selected, you'll receive up to two registrations for one event. Depending on the meeting, you may also get the chance to  network with and/or pitch to investors and industry business development professionals  via a company booth or kiosk, 1:1 meetings, or through a conference partnering portal or app.

NIH's Entrepreneurs in Residence and Innovator Support Team will help you prepare for these events. They're experienced in helping both early and late-stage companies understand how to build businesses and talk with investors and strategic partners. In addition, they've developed templates and materials to support life science companies seeking investment and networking opportunities with investors and industry partners.

NIH-sponsored companies in this program are also featured on the SEED website so potential investors and partners can learn more about them.

Ready to gain the confidence and skills you need to stand out from the crowd and get another step closer to reaching your goals?
