New NIDA Small Business Funding Opportunity Seeking Products to Address Social Needs Impacting Substance Use Disorders
NIDA recently released a new funding opportunity that is soliciting proposals for the development of technologies to address health-related social needs that impact substance use disorders (SUD) that focus on reducing costs and time and increasing access. Areas of interest in addressing health-related social needs include but are not limited to housing instability, non-medical transportation, food insecurity, utility needs, and personal safety. The products should provide the best feasible and accessible opportunities for the intended end-users to measurably improve their health-related social needs and SUD.
