NIA Research and Entrepreneurial Development Immersion (REDI) Program

The deadline to apply for the NIA Research and Entrepreneurial Development Immersion (REDI) Program is quickly approaching. The program provides bio-entrepreneurship training to boost the number of university startups and facilitate more diverse career opportunities for early-career scientists working in the fields of aging and aging-related diseases.

• PAR-22-226: The REDI Entrepreneurship Enhancement Award (R25) is designed to broaden the skills of graduate students, postdocs, and early-career recent graduates in fields relevant to healthy aging and Alzheimer’s disease research.

          Application Deadline: Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

• PAR-22-227: The REDI Mentored Entrepreneurial Career Development Award fosters the transition to research independence by providing support and protected time over three to five years for intensive, supervised career development in biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences in research areas supported by NIA.

          Application Deadline: Wednesday, October 18, 2023.   

• RFA-AG-24-042 and RFA-AG-24-043: The REDI Entrepreneurial Small Business Transition Awards foster career development among scientists with an interest in entrepreneurial training and mentorship while supporting the development of their small business and facilitating their transition from academia to industry.
