NIH Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Registration
The NIH Entrepreneurship Boot Camp provides academic and small business investigators with specialized innovation and entrepreneurship training. Teams will learn to use a life science-focused customer discovery process to assess customer and stakeholder needs, develop stronger business models and market strategies, and validate their commercialization plans in advance of their initial SBIR/STTR application. No prior product development or commercialization experience is required.
The program is differentiated from I-Corps@NIH, as it targets teams who have not yet been awarded an SBIR or STTR for their technology development project, and who may not yet have formed a company.
Innovators who have an active SBIR/STTR award during the duration of the course are not eligible for this program.
Participants who enroll in the NIH Entrepreneurship Boot Camp must register as a team representing a specific technology development project. Each team should include at a minimum two persons:
1) a technical lead with expertise in the proposed project and
2) an individual who will act as the business lead focused on developing the innovation’s commercial potential.
One other team member may be added for a maximum of three. Please use one form to register all members of your team.
