The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) has funded four small businesses to develop entrepreneurship education and training tools and resources to stimulate entrepreneurship, technology transfer, management, small business finance, and other skills needed to transition discoveries and technologies from the lab into commercial products in the Institutional Development Award (IDeA) states. These small businesses have partnered with academic institutions in the four IDeA regions (Central, Northeastern, Southwestern, and Western) to develop entrepreneurship resources for innovators in the region.
