Innovative Approaches to Improve Maternal Health Hybrid Workshop - Pitch Talk Session Application

Please complete this application to be considered for presenting a 10-minute Pitch Talk during the Innovative Approaches to Improve Maternal Health Hybrid Workshop scheduled for Monday, May 8th – Tuesday, May 9th, 2023.

If you are selected, you will be required to present in person during the workshop. Description This pitch session of the workshop will allow companies and entrepreneurs the opportunity to speak publicly about their companies while receiving coaching from a panel of experts from private equity and health accelerators that provide funding for their concepts.

This pitch coaching session will help entrepreneurs with their pitches when seeking capital investments and attain advice on pathways for support for successfully launching their products. Small business entrepreneurs are key for creating commercialized tools, devices, and services for furthering research and health in maternal and pregnancy and improving outcomes.

These commercialized solutions should focus on predicating and alleviating health disparities, specifically in NIH health disparities defines populations for predicating and diagnosing risk and treating ailments that affect maternal mortality and morbidity. This is not a pitch competition, and no prize money will be awarded.

If applicants are selected, they are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 10 slides to accompany their 10-minute presentation, followed by 10 minutes of questions.
